There is a very light, natural sweetness that comes from the globes that shouldn’t disrupt the enjoyment of the tea. Some flavors may be sweeter than others depending on their blend, such as the dessert flavors.
They are made in a casing of hardened beet sugar, a low glycemic food, that adds a light sweetness.
While optimum freshness recommends consumption within a month, these are perfectly shelf stable and can last upwards of a year without issue.
As you would a normal tea bag, lower the globe into a mug and pour boiling water over it. Steeping takes 5-10 minutes, and it is recommended that you stir frequently until the sugar globe is completely melted. By the time it dissolves, the tea will be steeped and perfect for consumption.
All of the teas, be it globe or loose leaf, are handmade to order. We humbly ask 3-5 days of processing before they are shipped. Shipping varies on location but should show within a business week once the product ships.
Not only are these handmade with care to order, but a lot of time and talent goes in to creating the product. This, mixed with high quality ingredients and reusable/recyclable “green” products, causes the price to be higher than that of mass produced tea products. We also ensure no fillers with our blends. As a small business with currently a single employee, it is also extensively time consuming and as the business grows the product prices should decrease.
Not currently, though we have several stores that we have our products in as well as exclusive globes for Spellbound Enchantments and Floral Woods Apothecary.
While we have several social media accounts, Ashley Landrum is also partnered with Spellbound Enchantments where she goes by the moniker “Talia Verone.” She also runs her business out of North Idaho and originates from Skagit Valley in Washington.
